California Queso recipe
Avocado adds some fresh summer flavors to classic spicy cheese dip.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 package (16 ounces) velveeta cheese, cubed
- 16 ounces monterrey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 small can rotel
- 2 small cans diced green chiles
- 2 whole avocados, peeled, pitted, diced
- 1 family size bag of tortilla chips
Directions:
In a large microwave safe bowl combine everything except the avocado. Melt on high in the microwave or in a crock pot.
When melted fold in the avocado. Serve with tortilla chips.
